Hamilton Wheatland Bracket Mantel Clock
This is a new addition in replacement of my Bulova ATO-MAT bracket clock, which I traded to a new friend named Nicholas (thanks again, Nicholas!) The movement in this clock needed some work. It's a typical Hermle 340-020, but they're very easy to work with. The chime hammers were just a bit gummy and needed to be re-oiled along with the whole movement, and the floating balance needed a little bit of attention. The oscillation of the floating balance was very bad, but I fixed it and got it running! Nicholas found this at a Goodwill thrift store for $40 in practically mint condition and even with the original key. The movement is dated 1985. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to fix another clock, Nicholas! :D
