Welcome to Deltarune December, where I play Deltarune on December for no reason. For none at all. This video contains the start of Chapter 2 to the point when you enter Queen's Castle. If the creator wants me to take this down, please tell me. PLEASE NOTE: I have edited my save file so that the defense values for the characters are 200 each. This is for purposes on showing the "Shadow Crystal" bosses for the chapters, but due to me refusing to edit videos and suffering from severe skill issues, I edited them. It would feel weird to make a playthrough without them. I apologize if it bothers anyone. I would rather do this than to have 1 hour of the video dedicated to the boss or touch an editing program. Sorry. Apologies for any choppiness if that occurs as well. And other visual stuff. Some stuff happens due to keybinding stuff. Forgot that F4 fullscreen the game as someone who plays windowed for recordings. Whoops. Some stuff with the borders also broke, but eh. Anyway... The first half of Chapter 2! It's pretty fun, I'd say. It's shorter than I remember, which helps because I remember the Cyber Field section being longer for some reason???? I dunno. Cyber City is a bit longer than I remember because I tend to forget the stuff after you and Noelle meet up with Ralsei and Susie. Visually, the game has been upped significantly. Cyber World looks great even with how simple it looks at first glance, and the Cyber City is neat as well with it's bustling city. From what I understand, Chapter 2 onwards, Deltarune actually had a team behind it where in Chapter 1 it was a much smaller amount of people working on it, and I will say... it shows. Music is good as always, even if the tracks I like the most are in Part 2. Recruiting is a fun mechanic and motivates to "catch 'em all" to get a lively Castle Town. Queen is an incredibly funny character, and in my list of favorites. She has so much fun dialogue and is just... fun. Hard to dislike her. Noelle and Berdly are fun as well, to show more of them here. The enemies are also fun too. Although I will say, considering the chapters that are out right now... Sweet Cap'n Cakes has to be my least favorite "boss/miniboss" character set in the whole game. I just don't find them interesting or appealing to me, aside from K_K maybe. Their fight isn't too interesting to me either. I tried to do a little trick to make it go faster, but my edited defense values have betrayed me. Eh, whatever. I don't have much else to say I suppose... So uhhh... All in all, fun times. But not the end of them yet. Next part will be the end of the chapter and will also include more of a.... certain someone who the fans really latched onto and... seemingly still are, even more actually. Will I do the Alternate Route at some point? ...No. Probably not.
