NEW HORN! Amtrak 23 with Awesome K5LA!
[4K] AMTK 23 seen on the Southwest Chief with a massive K5LA horn upgrade! This recent fix or swap at 8th street yard in Los Angeles is the best horn transformation I've ever seen…from worst to first!! The 23 used to be decent, then became incredibly fouled, to now arguably the best out there! This is now top 3 in the P42DC fleet along with AMTK 206 & AMTK 63. I think it sounds near identical to the 206! On the morning of June 28th, 2026 I decided to get my moneys worth and dropped a Cajon Pass to Santa Fe Springs chase, getting 7 shots of it!
