Quiet Zone Suspension: Train Horns in Downtown San Diego!

[4K] For the past couple of weeks both Grape and Hawthorn street in the Little Italy region of downtown San Diego have been noisier than usual. The NCTD Railroad issued a Form X at both crossings requiring trains to sound the crossing cadence regardless of Quiet Zone rules. An incident at one of the crossings along with the FRA's displeasure with the timing of the gates were the reasons the restriction lasted so long.
