Casa Blanca: Colorado Off-Grid House Build, Ep. 29: Finishing Plumbing and other tasks
Shoot for the stars, land on the moon. I never make the progress I hope, but I always make progress. This is just a quick status update because it's been awhile since my last post. Here you can see some siding being installed, which isn't required for the CO but our Prosocco WRB application is at the end of its 1-year UV resistance / exposure warranty so we need to get it covered ASAP, and since siding is actually a fairly easy task (compared to everything else!) I've started chipping away at it as a nice break between other tasks. The bigger news is that we're a few days away from finishing our plumbing. I now have fixtures/toilets/etc installed and functional everywhere except the master bath. The master bath needs more work in the shower and the vanities, but I'm hoping to wrap that up this week and put in for the inspection next week while switching gears to focus on drywall. Wish us luck. We're dangerously close to the permit deadline, and we sure need it!
