When you skip the engineer and build from watching YouTube
How to get the builder to do it right! https://5122143639651.gumroad.com/l/book I performed this pre-drywall inspection a year before posting this. What a disaster...the builder pretty much ignored the wall bracing plans, their contractor made unauthorized changes, and the subs ignored generally accepted construction practices all throughout this job. So after making this video the client asked me to hold off on publishing and I totally forgot about it until last night. I texted the client and wow, what a ride they've had since last year. Apparently they axed the old builder and hired a new, more compentent builder. The case is still being litigated but the old builder basically disappeared. The engineer has dictated repairs for the issues and, after a year and change, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel for getting this house finished. And the client gave me permission to post!
