Study Abroad in Jordan: an Arabic #LanguageStory

What is it like to learn Arabic in Jordan? How are race and gender a key aspect of the study abroad experience? This short documentary video features scenes from Amman, Jordan, and candid interviews with two U.S.-based college students who share a strong friendship grounded in Arabic. Encountering each of them helped me (as a researcher) to connect with the intersectionality of my experience as a lifelong Arabic learner and African American woman.
