While there are various hiking courses, today we will park at the Gubyeongsan parking lot and hike up along the village road in Gubyeong-ri. At the point where Course 1 and Course 2 diverge, we will take Course 1. After climbing a short distance, the trail leading up to the Pungnyeol section appears. Following this path, we will reach the summit after arriving at the Pungnyeol section. The total hiking distance, which involves passing through Baegundae and Sinseondae and descending via Course 2 from Peak 853, appears to be just over 8 km. In particular, the rock ridge section connecting Baegundae to Sinseondae is dangerous, and climbing Peak 853 involves a dizzying section where one must use ropes to reach the very top.
