out of the wild, into the city: 12 miles down the Hillsborough River

This link is to my Amazon Store where I do get a commission on purchases, but these are the cheapest links I can find: https://amzn.to/4oOKs0R I took a little trip down the Hillsborough river from the dam and Rowlett park past downtown Tampa and out to the southern tip of Davis Island(s) in Tampa Bay. I passed a lot of landmarks and really enjoyed seeing the Gasparilla ship up close and all the fancy waterfront houses along the way. It was a great kayak paddle and although not much of a workout, that is a good thing and means I am getting more prepared and one step closer for the next Everglades Challenge.
