In his talk, Dr. Val spoke on extensively on the future of Asata, Enugu and how technology can drive the new revolution. The Igbo Imu Ahia is a world acclaimed business principle. Imagine Igbo Apprentice Scheme in Technology. This will lead to accelerated Technological Development in our society. If we get it right, we will be among the worlds’ best in a few years to come. We need to start yesterday. Dr. Val hails from Ihiala in Anambra State but grew up in Enugu city. His Primary education was at Zik Avenue Primary school from there to CIC Enugu for Secondary school then to College of Medicine, UNEC, Enugu for Medical school. His housemanship was in PH and NYSC in Lagos. After that, he went to USA where he did a Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Memphis Tennessee, after which he started Valcee Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee where he is still the President and Medical Director. Dr. Val consider himself a computer savvy and have developed so much interest in Technology. He founded a tech startup which is now a leading car-hailing startup in the South East transport ecosystem. The startup is positioning to grow based on an appreciation by Coal City residents for the very high-quality service it provide. Dr. Val is also committed to the growth and development of Enugu and Nigeria as a whole.
