The "Biological" Memory Palace You're Not Using
Did you know that you're living inside the most powerful memory device ever created? Yes, I'm taking about your own body. In this beginner-friendly training, you'll turn your own body and Benjamin Franklin himself into a simple Memory Palace you can use to learn many kinds of information. Although there are no buildings required, the great thing about the Body Memory Palace technique is that you can place many bodies inside of traditional Memory Palaces. Or, to use the terminology of Giordano Bruno, whom we also cover, you can use mnemonic "stations." We start today's tutorial with a live exercise you can do right now. From there, you'll learn to build a complete 10-station body journey for memorizing numbers, dates, and even Franklin's 13 virtues. Then we'll discuss how Giordano Bruno took this technique to another level with his 30 statues, and how to multiply your stations far beyond what most people think possible. 🖐️ DO THE EXERCISE: Let me know if the discussion: What number did you place in each hand, and what did you experience while encoding it? Please don't skip this step. Writing your results down is part of the encoding. 🧲 FREE MEMORY IMPROVEMENT KIT Get the free course and go deeper with traditional Memory Palaces: https://www.magneticmemorymethod.com/yt 📺 WATCH NEXT: Rhyme Mnemonics — the simplest alternative to number-shape images: 🎙️ Tyson Yunkaporta on the Magnetic Memory Method Podcast: 📚 RECOMMENDED READING Ingrid Rowland's Giordano Bruno: Philosopher / Heretic. Ancient practitioners from the classical tradition through Bruno used the body as the foundation of the memory arts — and in this lesson you experience exactly why it still works.
