In this video we will show you the old, historical and very beautiful Sundar Palace which was constructed by Rai Bahadur Sundar Das Chopra during British Era. The construction of this palace started from 1915 and completed in 1918 after 3 years. The total area of this palace was 3.5 acres and gardens were planted around this palace. This palace was completed at a cost of 3 lac 90 thousand rupees. After the death of Sundar Das Chopra the white palace was also constructed here for her daughter-in-law which is also called White House. The craftsman were brought from India at that time therefore the reflection of the architecture of India and British are seen in the construction of this building. The stables of horses and garage of vehicles were also constructed here. Two separately guest rooms were also made here. The renovation of this palace was done at a cost of 5 lac rupees in 1982-83. Rai Bahadur Sundar Das constructed a palace for himself in Quetta Balochistan. A garden named Sundar Das is also present in Quetta today. Rai Bahadur Sundar Das was born in 1878 in the Dinga the area of Gujrat and he was belonged to a very poor family. Sundar Das worked as a watchman in Sardar Hakum Singh High School Dinga. He sold Channa Chat and Daal Channa in entertainment time in school. His salary was only 2 rupees in school at that time. He went to Quetta with Ram Chand in 1910 as a Manager. The Goddess of fortune be kind on him and he became the richest man. He gathered a lot of wealth in 1914 during the first world war and return to come Dinga. He laid foundation stone of this palace in 1915 at that time. Sundar Das purchased 200 Squares of land in Warburton near Sheikhupura. He got in love with a beautiful young girl Ram Pyari in 1915. They got married after changed their religion apparently. Ram Pyari was living with her father in her native home at that time. Ram Pyari came here for first time when a son was about to be born. Than she came here with her son in 1919 when her sutan Koshylia Devi alias Khushal Devi killed Ram Pyari son from the pet dogs. After that Ram Pyari did not come here. Sundar Das constructed a Palace for Ram Pyari near Fawara Chowk in Gujrat City. After that this palace got fame from the name of Ram Pyari Mahal. Sundar Das had given a Ford Car to Ram Pyari on which Ram Pyari wandering around Gujrat. On 3rd April 1921 Sundar Das died with poisons and his dead body was brought in Dinga Gujrat through special train. His dead body was burnt here in Dinga city in Kharian. In 1947 at the time of establishment of Pakistan the owners of this palace left this palace and went to India forever. Now the cracks have appeared in the walls of this palace and the deterioration of this palace are describing the situation of this palace. Now this palace will demolish to earth as the other palaces.
