PM 'deeply sorry' for state collusion in Finucane murder

Prime Minister David Cameron tells MPs that the De Silva report into the death of Pat Finucane finds "shocking levels of state collusion" in the murder, and apologises to the lawyer's family for the role of British security forces in his death. The Prime Minister said today he was "deeply sorry" for the extent of state collusion in the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane in 1989 following the publication of an independent review. Speaking in the Commons as the De Silva review was published, David Cameron said the report revealed five key areas of collusion and said agents of the British state had "actively furthered and facilitated the murder".
