Pat Finucane murder: "The horror never leaves you" - BBC HARDtalk (2014)
The Supreme Court in London has ruled that the investigations into the murder of the solicitor Pat Finucane in Belfast in 1989 have not been effective. The lawyer was shot dead by loyalists in front of his family. His wife, Geraldine has been campaigning for a public inquiry into her husband’s murder for the past forty years. In an interview with BBC HARDtalk in 2014, she told host Stephen Sackur she wasn’t interested in knowing who the gunmen were who killed her husband, she wanted to know who instructed them and how far up the chain of command they were.
