Trains at York Station Throughout July 2025

Here's a large selection of video clips recorded at York Station throughout July 2025. A few things to look out for in this film include 37501 dragging NRM liveried 91105 through York, and a WCR tour with top and tail Class 47s. There was also two ScotRail Class 170s passing through the station which were having maintenance done at Doncaster Wabtec, as well as a new EMR Class 810 Aurora unit going to the Old Dalby test track. There's also 37418 & Inspection saloon car 'Caroline' making a couple of appearances, and there's also the full Yellow NMT HST towards the end of the video. We were supposed to see a couple of Steam hauled railtours at York this month, but disappointingly there was only one. 60163 'Tornado' was captured hauling the White Rose tour from London Kings Cross which was nice to see, and we were also expecting to see Britannia hauling an LSL charter from Kings Cross, however it experienced a technical issue at Peterborough and was removed from the tour and a 57 was placed on the front instead. The Scarborough Spa Express should have also been steam hauled but ended up also being diesel hauled as WCR failed to secure a steamer for the day, so i chose not to go out for it this time. Oh well, there will be plenty of steam locomotives to see in the next video which will be filmed from The Greatest Gathering at Derby Alstom works.
