Furthermore, having recently launched a new group class for beginners at Bateras Beat, I decided to record a series of practical videos that can be useful to everyone. In this lesson, we'll work on Rebound Strokes, which I've chosen to simply call Rebounds. Grab your pad and practice with me for 10 minutes. Happy studying! Sources and further reading Tommy Igoe – Great Hands For A Lifetime George Lawrence Stone Joe Morello Dom Famularo This type of exercise is often associated with the Stone Killers, developed in the teaching tradition of George Lawrence Stone and passed down by Joe Morello. In Dom Famularo's school, there's a very similar concept called Free Stroke, meaning the stroke naturally returns to its starting position thanks to the rebound of the stick.
