Helicopter Rescue, Hike Over! PCT June 12
This was a tough video to edit. Not a day I want to re-live. It started out wonderfully, with deer visiting my campsite. Unfortunately it didn’t stay that way, with the trail quickly becoming dangerously unmaintained. I only hiked 4.5 miles before falling and having to be helicoptered out. I didn’t make it to Seiad Valley today as planned, and ended up in a Yreka hospital.
