They are welcomed by South Tyrolean gourmet and restaurateur Roland Trettl, who has already worked in the kitchen on the VOX cooking shows "Kitchen Impossible" and "Grill den Profi." In "First Dates - A Table for Two," however, the focus isn't on Roland Trettl, but on the guests who enter his cozy restaurant. Will they find their true love here? Aside from the fact that the candidates are singles from Germany, they are fundamentally different: some are in their mid-twenties, some are seniors, some are computer scientists, and some are office workers. Nevertheless, the blind date pairings are by no means left to chance, but are carefully considered in advance based on personal preferences and no-gos.
