#dxdevday HLSL is the industry standard for GPU shaders used by AAA games. In the HLSL compiler talk we will review the new open source DXC HLSL compiler. We’ll start with a discussion on the compiler architecture and where to find source, releases, and documentation. We will then focus on how to port asset pipelines over to the new compiler interface and share a few tips and tricks to help with debugging, shader binary sizes, and multithreading.
