Matera completely exceeded our expectations. 🇮🇹 In this vlog, we spend 2 days exploring Matera, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and home to the incredible Sassi di Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a history dating back over 9,000 years. From wandering through the ancient cave dwellings at sunrise to catching sunset over the Sassi, Matera felt like stepping into another world.
