A VOLTA DO GIGANTE: Mercedes-Benz apresenta o NOVO AXOR mais robusto e tecnológico

The icon is back! After a brief hiatus in 2022, Mercedes-Benz do Brasil surprises the market and relaunches the Axor, one of the brand's most acclaimed extra-heavy trucks among small trucking companies and fleet owners. Completely revamped for 2025, the new Axor arrives with cutting-edge technology and a design that reinforces its robust image, ready to tackle the diverse applications of everyday road users. The stars of the return are the new Axor 2038 4x2 and Axor 2545 6x2 models. Both come equipped with advanced BlueTec 6 technology, which not only ensures compliance with the strict Proconve P8 (Euro 6) legislation but also promises greater efficiency and a lower environmental impact. Under the hood, the heart of the new Axor is the 13-liter Mercedes-Benz OM 460 engine, available in two versions: 380 horsepower and 450 horsepower. This engine, combined with the 12-speed PowerShift 3 Advanced automated transmission, provides faster and smoother gear changes, resulting, according to the automaker, in greater fuel economy and optimized driving, essential for those who live on the road. With a chassis similar to the Actros, the Axor 2025 stands out for its capacity. It comes with 62 and 68 tons of GVW (Maximum Traction Capacity), making it suitable for use with trailers with up to 4 axles, expanding its capabilities for road freight transport and medium- and long-distance logistics operations. COMFORT AND SAFETY / The cabin of the new Axor follows the design lines of the brand's highway trucks, conveying a sense of strength and durability. The interior was designed with driver comfort in mind, a crucial aspect of the road life. Available in two versions, Low Roof and High Roof, the cabin has a low floor and a 20 cm tunnel, facilitating movement. The ergonomic pneumatic seat with up to 11 adjustments ensures the ideal position for long journeys. To complete the experience, the Axor features comfort and convenience features such as a multifunction steering wheel and a combined gearshift and engine brake lever on the steering column. The new Axor comes standard with essential features such as EBS electronic brakes, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), and an intelligent key. For those seeking even greater visibility and safety, LED headlights are an optional extra that makes a difference. PRICES / Mercedes-Benz do Brasil is betting big on the return of the Axor, offering promotional launch prices: R$698,000 for the 4x2 version and R$738,000 for the 6x2 version.
