THE MAKING （１２６）絹糸ができるまで
2003年 14分 シリーズ「ザ・メイキング」。身近な製品がどのような技術を使ってつくられていくのかを追い、モノの成り立ちと科学技術の関わりを伝えます。今回のテーマは、「絹糸」。絹糸は、蚕蛾（かいこが）の幼虫が、作る「まゆ」をほぐして作られる天然繊維です。蚕は生後3週間ほどすると、さなぎになるために絹糸をはき、まゆを作りはじめます。そのまゆからどのような技術で糸をとっていくのかを紹介します。 受賞作品 暮らし 学習／教育 碓氷製糸農業協同組合
