At some point in the last 10-20 years, greed and wealth became more revered than service. Mother Teresa is a figure long forgotten in the past, instead, give us Taylor Swift sitting on a billion dollars and we’ll love her so long as she says she’s voting for the right candidate. But a post is not progress, nor is a speech. Celebrities who wanted to be activists used to actually put in effort. Why have the rich become so lazy with their desire to help the world? Is a post or a donation really all they can do?
