35028 tributes the last steam hauled ‘Golden Arrow’ | 06/06/26

Almost 65 years to the day, 35028 Clan Line would run around Kent playing tribute to the last steam hauled service of the Golden Arrow. Fronting her usual stint around Kent for the Belmond Pullman, we first see the Green Machine emerge from the Urban Jungle in London. With Battersea providing an excellent backdrop, Clan Line would do well to accelerate away from London. Overtaking the tour now to an old familiar spot on the channel on the short incline between just before Bekesbourne before stumbling to the ports of Dover where the old Golden Arrow once terminated. Our Golden Arrow however made its way back to London and with the shot of her passing the white cliffs complete, we return back into London where 35028 would take a rare turn into Crofton Park.
