A huge coalition of lions that would have the power to dominate the entire Serengeti wilderness. Known as the Saba Bora Boys, these seven lions form one of the most feared and strategic groups that these lands have ever seen. They were responsible for killing King Bob Junior and they continue to reign supreme in a land where only the strongest survive. At first, the young lions seemed to be wandering aimlessly, but later it was realized that they were actually heading toward a specific area that had previously been unthinkable for wandering lions to dare to enter: King Bob Junior’s land. Their bodies were not yet heavy with thick manes, but they already had the muscles of warriors ready to fight. They were young, but fearless. And the most impressive thing about lions at this age: they seemed coordinated. Safari guides, accustomed to spotting fragile coalitions or disorganized groups, knew that they were in the presence of something rare, so they began to document their experience. Soon, the coalition gained a name: Saba Bora Boys, which loosely translates from the Swahili dialect as “The Seven Strong Boys.” And each of them, although part of a whole, began to stand out for his personality and role within the group. In command was Bob Killer, a lion with an intimidating appearance, visibly the most aggressive, authoritarian and ruthless. At his side, as his right-hand man, was Kiku, the most muscular and loyal of the group. Ulimin Bilili, the strategist, had the scar on his face that gave him the nickname “split tongue” and in his brain the ability to observe before attacking, and when he advanced, he did so with surgical precision. There was also Atlas, the most beautiful lion of the group, whose mane was beginning to bloom more than the others. And finally, the Triplets, three inseparable, almost identical brothers who moved as one body, protecting each other amidst the chaos. But it was not only their formation that impressed, but what they did right after. For seven long years, two lions dominated that region of the Serengeti with strength and wisdom: Bob Junior and his coalition brother, Marley. Bob Junior, in particular, was seen by many as the true “King of the Serengeti”. His majestic bearing and voluminous mane were admired by all who met him. We have a detailed video about him here on the channel. He was respected, feared and legendary. And until then, he had never lost a battle. The Saba Bora knew this. And they did not attack immediately. They watched, waited and finally acted. It was only when Marley disappeared in early 2023 that the Saba Bora saw their chance. On March 11, 2023, the territory changed hands, or rather, claws. Bob Killer, accompanied by Kiku and one of the Triplets, ambushed Bob Junior. The roar of the fight echoed across the plains. Despite all his experience, Bob Junior was already old and could not resist the impetus of the young lions. He was killed right there, in that clearing that would soon become a silent marker of the end of an era. With the death of Bob Junior, the Saba Bora Boys did not just take over the territory, they took over the throne of the Serengeti. In the first days of their reign, the coalition already impressed with its organization and strength. They were cohesive, organized and deadly. They patrolled vast areas with precision, protected the conquered lionesses and ensured the expansion of their lineage. But like every kingdom built with blood and strength, cracks would begin to appear. On the outside, they were a wall. On the inside, the first tremors were already being felt. Small disagreements. Silent disputes over females. Looks that were once of brotherhood… now carried another intention. Everyone wanted the leadership of the coalition, but the supreme crown could only belong to a lion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright Disclaimer: We do not fully own the material compiled in this video.
