Yin for Creating Space | 20-Minute Heart-Opening Yin Yoga with Anna Viktoria Feeling scattered, or like life has just been a little too intense lately? This gentle 20-minute Yin practice is designed to create space around the heart and bring you back to yourself. Supported on a rolled blanket and a bolster, you'll move slowly through heart-opening shapes, long side-body stretches, and soft forward folds, using the breath to soften, expand, and settle. Come as you are, and give yourself permission to simply arrive. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A mat A blanket or towel (rolled to support the back of the heart) A bolster or firm pillow (optional but lovely) An extra block or cushion for the forehead GREAT FOR Releasing tension around the chest, shoulders, and upper back Calming a busy or overstimulated mind Creating a sense of spaciousness and ease Winding down at the end of the day CHAPTERS 0:00 Welcome & Intro 0:55 Supported Heart Opener 5:10 Child's Pose 6:15 Child's Pose/ Side-bend stretch, left 8:15 Child's Pose/ Side-bend stretch, right 11:15 Caterpillar (forward fold) with Eagle Arms 16:45 Supported Shavasana "Nothing can touch as close to the heart as the breath can."
