I Finally Got One! Nacho Chassis Build Overview + Indoor Course Running

Nacho Chassis Build Breakdown + Running Footage 🔥 I’m finally breaking down my holy grail Nacho chassis build and showing it in action. After hunting one of these down for a long time (shoutout to Reddit for the find), I’ve put together a unique setup that blends performance, balance, and clean aesthetics. In this video, I walk through the build top to bottom, including what’s stock, what’s been upgraded, and what’s actually worth trying if you’re building or tuning your own rig. 🔧 BUILD SPECS Chassis: Nacho 7 Seconds (Dead 90 setup — ~10mm longer than stock Gladiator length) Receiver: GT5 ESC: Lizard Pro Motor: Micro Komodo Motor Mount: Akers Axles: Muse Axles V1 (slight underdrive rear) Drive Shaft: Extender fitted (no carrier bearing) Oil: 15wt rear / none front Springs: Stiffer rear setup (per Nacho's Instagram recommendation) Front: Dual rubber band Body: Hard body — custom gray paint w/ acrylic weathering/rust effects Overall Width: ~120mm (outermost tire to outermost tire) Weight: ~540g w/ battery Weight Distribution: 60/40 ✅ 🔗 LINKS Rear Diff Slider (Etsy): etsy.com/listing/1709455761/meus-v1-v2-differential-slider-for-scx24 Drive Shaft Extender: https://amzn.to/4dWnrGX Dead90 Links: https://amzn.to/47BYo8o Axles: https://amzn.to/4sjWe4U Flysky FS BS6 Receiver: https://amzn.to/4sedIiO "Limiting Straps" https://amzn.to/41JNA4z Big Bore Shocks: https://amzn.to/4sPdtf8 Shock oil (15wt): https://amzn.to/4veMICI Shock oil (20wt): https://amzn.to/4tseIRE Scotch Extreme - Get here: https://amzn.to/4my65lw 🔥 TIRES Ruptures - Get here: https://amzn.to/456tsMe Mini Megalithic - Get here: https://amzn.to/3Nja7RN ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 — Intro & how I found this chassis 0:36 — Build overview / Dead 90 setup explained 1:17 — Brass in all four corners 1:39 — Electronics: GT5, Lizard Pro, Micro Komodo, Acres mount 2:06 — Reef 99 Muse Axles V1 + rear diff case 2:31 — Drive shaft extender setup 3:19 — Forward weight bias & chassis geometry 3:43 — Nacho's Instagram setup tips (springs + oil) 4:57 — Body: paint, weathering & dimensions 6:26 — Final weight & 60/40 distribution 6:33 — Hard body vs. Lexan comparison (vs. WT Micro) 💬 Why Dead 90 on the Nacho Chassis? The Dead 90 setup runs about 10mm longer than a stock Gladiator, and on the Nacho chassis specifically it transforms the driving feel — more planted, better climbing, better descent control. Pair that with brass in all four corners and stiffer rear springs/oil and this thing is dialed. If you're building one of these or looking to upgrade, this setup is worth trying. 🔔 Subscribe for more micro crawler builds, tips, and running footage. 👍 Like if this helped with your build — it really does help the channel. 💬 Drop your Nacho build specs below — curious what everyone else is running. #MicroCrawler #NachoChassis #RCCrawler #Dead90 #MicroRC #RCBuild #MicroCrawlerBuild #RCCrawlerBuild #ScaleCrawler #CrawlerBuild #snacksquad
