From 1/10 to 1/24 -- This Custom Build Might Change His Mind?

What’s going on, guys! 👊 In this video, I’m walking you through a custom commission build for a buddy of mine who’s normally a 1/10 scale guy — but I finally convinced him to step into the 1/24 world. He gave me the green light and said, “Build me something cool,” so that’s exactly what I did. I went with the Mazz Designs Cheat Code V3 (matte gray from the last drop) because it’s one of the most well-rounded performance chassis out there. It’s easy to build, offers great electronics space, and flat-out performs. This setup is meant to do everything well — not strictly a trail truck, not strictly a comp rig — just a solid all-around performer to get him hooked on 24 scale. 🔧 Build Highlights: OG OGRC servo w/ NSDRC horn FlySky GT5 receiver Lizard Pro ESC LGRP MR24 Transmission paired with micro Komodo motor 33% overdrive (12T front / 16T rear) LGRP wheels Injora Swamp Stomper Tires (vented F/R, tuned inserts) Injora Big Bore shocks Budget injora links (clearance is still solid) I also added some small custom touches — birthday detail on the chassis (21st!), reinforced wiring with shrink wrap, rubber band wire management, and a budget Amazon body modified to fit a Gladiator wheelbase with magnetic mounting. Overall, this is a clean, balanced, budget-conscious custom build designed to perform anywhere and get a 1/10 scale guy officially addicted to 1/24.
