Tree falls, traps woman in Michigan home after severe storms

First responders worked to rescue a woman who is pinned between her roof and floor Friday, after severe storms ripped a tree down on top of her home. The damage caused a partial building collapse on East Glenguile Avenue near North Church Street, according to City of Kalamazoo Fire Marshal Lt. Scott Brooks. The woman is pinned between the roof's trusses, the tree, a refrigerator and the floor. She is the only person inside and is talking with first responders, according to Brooks. "We can see her, we can communicate with her, we can reach at her, we just can't get to her and her body's pinned also," Brooks said.
