How to make a severed Arm Part 4
This is the 4th video in our series on How to Make a Severed Arm. In previous videos we casted an actors arm in alginate, did a clay pour from the alginate mold, repaired the clay hand and added textures, then we casted the first half of the arm. Now in this video we cast the second half of the clay arm in Ultracal plaster. Remember to be delicate when removing the water based clay or WED clay. When scrubbing close to your clay hand it will be easy to rub away the textures you added to the hand leaving the seam line smooth instead of textured. 1st Video "Casting an Actors Arm": • How to Make a Severed Arm - Part 1 2nd Video "Repairing the Clay Arm" : • How to Make a Severed Arm Part 2 - Repairi... 3rd Video "Casting the First Half of the Clay Arm": • How to Make a Severed Arm Part 3 Supplies needed: Water based Clay or "WED Clay" Ultracal Plaster
