How to Make a Severed Arm Part 3
This is the third of four video in our series on "How to Make a Severed Arm". In this video we explain how to cast the clay hand in plaster that you just repaired. This is a 2 part mold process. Attention to detail is given on how to use water based clay (or WED Clay) create a nice fine seam line between your plaster halves. Special keys are placed in the water based clay to make the plaster molds fit together without movement. Materials used: Water Based Clay or WED Clay: (Use for mold separation walls) Ultracal Plaster: (Do not use plaster of paris) Krylon Crystal Clear Spray: (to seal water clay before molding)
