Scientists Just Reopened the Princes in the Tower Case After 540 Years — DNA Has the Answer

In 1483 two boys — Edward V and Richard, Duke of York — vanished inside the Tower of London. For 540 years the story has been the same: Richard III did it. In 2023 the historian Philippa Langley, who found Richard III's bones under a Leicester car park, published archival evidence that both princes survived and were the men later called the pretenders Lambert Simnel and Perkin Warbeck.
