Oyster Mushrooms galore!! Come foraging with me • June forest vlog
Mushroom season is hereeee! June-October are the prime months to see as many different species as possible that’s why we say ‘mushroom season’ even though various mushrooms grow across winter ;-). Main feature of this video is the pale oyster mushroom that is fruiting everywhere at the minute and then the charcoal burner, an edible Russula species that I do a taste and spit test on. This ends up being a shorter walk because I got spooked by all the ticks on me!! Going to put extra tic spray on next time and shall provide you with more mushroom foraging goodness. Thanks for joining me 💚. I am a lot more active on insta so find me on there if you wish: @florafunga.mia 🍄 This is just a guide where I am sharing my knowledge, not giving advice. I have been foraging for 5+ years & I do spend a lot of time researching and cross checking my sources, but there is still so much more to learn and I forage with caution. Please also do your own research if you want to forage and consume wild fungi & plants. It’s not safe to ‘assume’, you need to be 100% sure & seek opinions. #foraging #naturegirl #mushroomhunting #fungi #outdoorwomen
