Foraging at the end of August in the Drovers Rest Hereford
Some of the lovely finds we got on our day out at the Drovers Rest at the end of August including the Horn Of Plenty :) Identification by www.wildfooduk.com Notes: There are actually 5 species of milkcap found in the UK that have orange milk and all are edible. Some of the ones not mentioned here are rare though so try to stick to the common species. There are also many contenders for most poisonous mushroom in the UK though there is no conclusive proof. The Death Cap and Destroying Angel are certainly attributed with the most deaths in the UK, Europe and possibly globally though.
