《卷耳》 Rolling Ear Grass from The Book of Songs 采采卷耳，不盈顷筐。 Picking, picking the rolling ear grass, Yet my basket is hardly filled. 嗟我怀人，寘彼周行。 Ah, I think of the one I love, And set my basket by the road. 陟彼崔嵬，我马虺隤。 I climb the rugged mountain high, My weary horse can scarcely go. 我姑酌彼金罍，维以不永怀。 Let me pour from the golden cup, To ease this longing in my soul. 陟彼高冈，我马玄黄。 I climb the high and distant ridge, My horse grows pale with toil and dust. 我姑酌彼兕觥，维以不永伤。 Let me drink from the horned goblet, To keep my sorrow from lasting long. 陟彼砠矣，我马瘏矣。 I climb the rocky hillside steep, My horse is tired and worn away. 我仆痡矣，云何吁矣。 My servant too is worn with pain, How can we bear this weary road?
