There are children who love #seafood. This is also the case with our child :) . Today with Varvara, we prepared the favorite and breaded crispy squid. As you can see it's not difficult, it's even fun when you do it with the kids. Crispy squids are a big challenge at home, firstly because they are tender and should be cooked literally before serving, secondly because we have to overcome the fear that they are cooked too quickly (because otherwise they become tough) and last but not least the fact that we have to clean them from the zipper if we want a perfect result. Clean them beforehand. About an hour before the guests arrive, bread them and leave them in a tray. It is best to fry them in front of them so that they are perfect. ❗️Don't forget the squid are fried in 3 minutes! 1.5 minutes per side, don't be tempted to over-fry them. For our very crispy #squid, we needed: For the squid: 3 large tubes of about 700 g. For the breading: 1 tsp. flour; 1.5 tsp breadcrumbs (panko); 2 eggs + 3 tbsp. milk; salt, pepper and paprika to taste. For the sauce: 2 tbsp. mayonnaise; 2 tbsp. yoghurt; 1 tsp lemon juice; 1 pickled or pickled cucumber; 2 cloves of garlic; pinch of salt .
