I finally got around to building a disc sander, which is so often needed in my work. In the first part of the video, I'll build the machine itself, with an adjustable table, from an old Soviet 420W induction motor. Part Two -    • Шлифовальный станок своими руками. Часть 2...   Unfortunately, I couldn't show the machine in action because I had a question about what kind of glue to use for gluing sandpaper to the sanding disc. I know rubber, but I couldn't find the right one here. Basically, the sander is complete, but there will be a second part, in which I'll build a miter gauge with a protractor, a flywheel guard, a light, figure out the starter and electrical system, and build a separate table for it and my drill press, so everything is stationary and convenient. A homemade disc grinder is quite simple to make. In the video, I tried to show all the steps involved in creating this machine. As always, I don't have any drawings... D.I.Y.
