Every movement begins with a conversation. In celebration of Pride Month, The Playhouse Project - Pampanga successfully held QUEERtuhan 2025, our inaugural online learning dialogue dedicated to fostering meaningful conversations on Pride, equality, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. The event brought together youth leaders and participants from various organizations for an afternoon of learning and reflection through discussions on SOGIESC, the history of queer communities in the Philippines, and the country's continuing journey toward LGBTQIA+ acceptance and legislation. More than a webinar, QUEERtuhan became a safe space where stories were shared, perspectives were challenged, and participants were reminded that education is one of the strongest tools for creating inclusive communities. As we look back on our first QUEERtuhan, we are reminded that Pride is more than a celebration—it is a protest, a movement, and a commitment to building a society where everyone can live with dignity and authenticity. Because meaningful change starts somewhere. It starts with an initiative. It starts with a conversation. It starts with a QUEERtuhan.
