QUEERtuhan 2026: Sipat: Bahagharing Lente brought together youth leaders, advocates, and partner organizations from across the Philippines for an afternoon of meaningful conversations on the intersections of queer justice, climate justice, and healthcare justice. Inspired by the Filipino word sipat, meaning "to observe closely," this year's dialogue challenged us to look beyond symbols and celebrations—to examine how the everyday experiences of LGBTQIA+ Filipinos are shaped by the systems around us. From access to healthcare and disaster resilience to inclusive policies and community action, our speakers reminded us that justice is interconnected, and no one should be left behind. As Pride Month reminds us to celebrate identity, QUEERtuhan reminds us to transform celebration into action. Because Pride is more than visibility—it is solidarity, advocacy, and the courage to build communities where everyone can live with dignity.
