The GoDown mourns the loss of Mary Ogembo, an accomplished artist whose work celebrated the spirit of womanhood with vivid warmth and authenticity. Her passing is a loss not only to the art community but to all who found inspiration in her portrayal of beauty. In memory of Mary Ogembo, a candle-lit vigil has been scheduled for 8th Nov 2024 at the GoDown Arts Centre, Kilimani from 5 to 7 p.m. May her soul rest in peace, and may her work keep inspiring generations to come.
