You can also knit the hat for children and teens and adults XL large size as well. (see below). MORE SIZES: FOR CHILD TO TEEN SIZE with head circumference of 20-21in, cast on (provisional) 120 sts and make 72 rows then start decrease with 4 sections each with 29 sts AND 1 sts in-between the sts markers. Decrease in the same way as this hat pattern until there are 12 sts left then close the hat. Repeat same number of rows and decreases for the 2nd hat.   FOR ADULT XL SIZE with head circumference of 24in +, cast on (provisional) 136 sts and make 92 rows then start decrease with 4 sections each with 33 sts AND 1 sts in-between the sts markers. Decrease in the same way as this hat pattern until there are 12 sts left then close the hat.
