TRAITER LA CHLOROSE SUR LES CITRONNIERS - Que Faire Dans Mon Jardin ?

Hello and welcome to Grandiflora's garden for the third episode of the week, dedicated to the terrace. Our approach is the same as in the vegetable and ornamental gardens: we observe the plants and react according to the weather. Among our observations, at first glance, we have the impression that the lemon trees are growing well. Upon closer inspection, we observe the appearance of chlorosis on the leaves. We are going to add iron to remedy this. As for the fruit, we are noticing several failures. Is this due to temperature variations? The flowers have indeed produced fruit, but they are perishing, either by turning black or by falling off while they are still forming. After careful observation, the deficiency appears to be due to excessive water intake and a lack of trace elements such as iron or manganese. We're remedying this by changing the watering schedule and adding a specialized fertilizer for lemon trees, rich in iron and manganese. In addition, to prevent the plant from suffering too much from the heat, we move the pot against a wall that's in the shade for a good part of the day. Here are our suggestions to help you garden this week. Since the tasks are becoming similar across all three areas of the garden, we'll be accompanying you in your garden this summer with one session per week until September, grouping activities in the vegetable garden, the ornamental garden, and the patio.
