🎼 Sung in E4 (pitch range from C4 to C5). 🎶 The best known paraphrase of the hymn "Te Deum laudamus", found in manuscripts from the 12th century and reaching its greatest popularity between the 15th and 16th centuries. ⚠️ We have made this arrangement based on the hymn version found in the manuscript P. XIII of the Oristan Cathedral, slightly modifying the text, with fragments of the versions of other manuscripts and books —e. g. Ripoll 116—, to update the old Latin forms and face certain 'doctrinal problems' that are mentioned in the article "La recepción del Te Matrem (dei) laudamus en la geografía litúrgica y extralitúrgica de la Península Ibérica, Ruiz Torres, S. Ecclesia Orans 35, Pontificio Istituto Liturgico, Roma, 2018, p. 133" [link available on the web].
