The renovated Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, having completed a systematic upgrade in early 2026, aims to be "more cutting-edge, more intelligent, more integrated, and greener," creating a world-class model of science and technology museums. It is currently open to the public for trial operation during the Lunar New Year of the Horse. Visitors can become researchers and explore the wonders of life within the dense forest. *Energy Dynamics:* Focusing on energy development, this area covers themes such as energy overview, exploration, emerging forces, and energy conservation and emission reduction, guiding visitors to consider low-carbon transformation paths. *Light of Wisdom:* The only classic exhibition area that has been completely preserved, focusing on the principles of fundamental disciplines such as physics and mathematics. Over 60 classic interactive exhibits have been revitalized, evoking childhood memories for generations. *One Meter World:* A 2,200-square-meter science park designed specifically for children aged 3-8, themed "My Science City," allowing children to unlock the city's technological secrets through fun and interactive activities. *Symbiotic Planet:* Centered on the concept of "Earth as a Community of Life," this area showcases the beauty and fragility of Earth through multimedia and interactive games, advocating for ecological protection. Tomorrow's Traveler: An AI and Robotics themed exhibition area, telling the story of the rebirth of the future robot "Xuan Yong," encompassing four scenes: Memory Road, Intelligent Manufacturing Field, Infinite City, and Future Port. It showcases cutting-edge achievements from companies like Fourier and Zhiyuan, including humanoid robots and brain-computer interfaces. Light of Exploration: An immersive review of major 20th-century scientific discoveries such as relativity and the double helix of the gene, reliving moments of scientific brilliance. The Amazing Me: Focusing on the mysteries of the human body, this area features highly competitive interactive games, such as "The Journey of Food," helping visitors rediscover their own bodily functions. Flight Exploration: One of the most immersive exhibition areas, visitors can board a 1:1 scale replica of a Ford three-engine aircraft, wear VR equipment, and experience an immersive aerial journey through early Chinese commercial flights.
