A week in the life of a Tokyo office worker who loves to read and is chasing a literary newcomer's award. I read in order to write, and I turn what I think about while reading into these videos. In the mornings I'm still working on my novel, while reading Yukio Mishima's The Temple of the Golden Pavilion and the literary magazine Bungakukai. At night, I read Kiyoshi Miki's "Notes on Life" (NHK 100 Minutes de Meicho series) in the bath, write in my diary, and read Kikan Nikki (Diary Quarterly) in bed before sleep.
