GORDON & MacPHAIL: A melhor experiência da viagem
During my trip to Scotland, I had an experience that will definitely become part of my history in the world of whisky. I visited Gordon & MacPhail, one of the most respected independent bottlers in the world, for a private tasting that went far beyond simply sampling great labels. For about two hours, I had the opportunity to talk about maturation, barrels, distillery selection, and production philosophy with someone who has dedicated decades of their life to whisky. It was an extremely enriching experience that made me see Gordon & MacPhail's work from a completely different perspective. Throughout the tasting, I sampled some impressive labels and, more importantly, I better understood how an independent bottler can reveal characteristics that are often not found in the official expressions of distilleries. 🥃 Cheers!
