In 1999, Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE) was struck with a severe fever caused by an internal abscess that nearly killed him, forcing him into emergency surgery. He spent the first half of 2000 recovering before finally hitting the road again. With Tom Watson on guitar and Vince Meghrouni on drums, the 39-date Enough With the Piss Bag tour launched in San Francisco in early September. Their Madison stop at O'Cayz Corral landed right in the middle of the run. About: The goal of the O’Cayz Archive Project is to digitize and share significant performances from the storied history of O’Cayz Corral. Cassette tapes often deteriorate or are discarded over time, with many of these recordings existing only as a single copy.
