Savoia Marchetti SM-82 "Marsupiale" il primo trasporto tattico

Il Savoia-Marchetti SM.82 Marsupiale fu un aereo da trasporto e bombardamento italiano della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Si trattava di un trimotore con ala monoplano a sbalzo, con carrello retrattile. Sebbene fosse in grado di operare anche come bombardiere, l’SM.82 vide un uso molto limitato in questo ruolo, fu anche l'aereo straniero utilizzato in maggior numero dalla Luftwaffe, con diverse centinaia di esemplari nel ruolo trasporto. The Savoia-Marchetti SM.82 Marsupiale was an Italian transport and bomber aircraft of the Second World War. It was a three-engined monoplane wing with retractable landing gear. Although it was also capable of operating as a bomber, the SM.82 saw very limited use in this role, it was also the foreign aircraft used in greatest numbers by the Luftwaffe, with several hundred examples in the transport role.
