One of Britain’s LARGEST Concert Hall Organs | Mind blowing!

I had the privilege of playing the magnificent four-manual Forster & Andrews organ at Hull City Hall — one of the largest concert hall organs in the United Kingdom. Reportedly the third largest concert hall organ in the UK, after those at the Royal Albert Hall and St George’s Hall, Liverpool, this extraordinary instrument possesses immense power, remarkable tonal colour, and an astonishing variety of stops. Sitting at such a mighty console was certainly an intimidating experience at first, but I’ve tried to showcase the organ in a way that allows you to hear the huge range of sounds and character this instrument can produce — from delicate quiet tones to full organ grandeur. The organ is regularly featured in recitals and concerts by some of the biggest names in the organ world, and it is maintained to an exceptionally high standard both mechanically and tonally. It was an absolute pleasure to visit this historic instrument — a truly unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to Adrian and everyone at Hull City Hall for their generosity, hospitality, and for making this visit possible.
