Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Guo Zhijun stated that Tajik President Emomali Rahmon's state visit to China marked an important milestone in the development of bilateral relations. Following the visit, the two sides signed 31 agreements, including the Treaty of Eternal Good-Neighborliness and the Joint Statement on Deepening Strategic Partnership. The diplomat noted that the agreements reached will attract approximately $8 billion in investment to the Tajik economy.
